Adrian Ernesto Cepeda is the author of Speaking con su Sombra published in 2021 by Alegría Publishing, We Are the Ones Possessed, a collection of horror themed death poems, & La Belle Ajar, a collection of cento poems inspired by Sylvia Plath's 1963 novel, both published by CLASH Books, Between the Spine a collection of erotic love poems published with Picture Show Press, the full-length poetry collection Flashes & Verses...Becoming Attractions from Unsolicited Press and the poetry chapbook So Many Flowers, So Little Time from Red Mare Press. And, his 6th book, the bilingual poetry collection, La Lengua Inside Me, was published by FlowerSong Press in 2023.
In 2023, Dashboard Horus nominated “Of Love and Departures” for Best of the Net
In 2022, Flower Song Press published and nominated his poem “Does an Hombre Have to Die to Speak to His Own Father?” in Boundless 2022 for The Pushcart Prize.
In 2021, Alebrijes Review published and nominated his poem “I Always Remember Dialing” from Speaking con su Sombra, for The Pushcart Prize.
In 2019, Adrian Ernesto was awarded Pasadena City College's Inscape Magazine Poet Alumnus of the Year.
His Poem "Endless Embrace" published by Capsule Stories Summer Edition was nominated for The Pushcart Prize in 2019.
His Poems, "Invisible Tan" published by Rogue Agent Journal and "They Asked Me About Drugs," published by Neon Mariposa Magazine were both nominated for Best of the Net 2019.

To date, Adrian has over one hundred and seventy-five poems published in over a hundred different publications. One of his poems was named the winner of Subterranean Blue Poetry’s 2016 "The Children of Orpheus" Anthology Contest and two of his poems “Buzz Me” and “Estranged Fruit” were nominated for Best of the Net in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Adrian also had one of his poems “Longing for Our Airport Reconnections” featured in Shinpei Takeda’s Poems of Arrival for the Inscription Installation Exhibit at the New Americans Museum in San Diego, California.
Adrian is an LA Poet who has a BA from the University of Texas at San Antonio and he is also a graduate of the MFA program at Antioch University in Los Angeles where he lives with his lovely wife and their adorably spoiled cat Woody Gold.
